Comprising an impressive 15 years of experience in the construction industry, brothers Andrew and Michael Hingston founded Building Under Construction with a focus on completing custom-made, architecturally designed homes to inspire. In order to effectively manage project timelines and achieve the very highest level of finish, Building Under Construction uniquely limits active projects to a maximum of five only in any given year and services a small range of Inner-Melbourne and select Victorian locations, including Boroondara, Stonnington, Bayside & Mornington Peninsula.

Able to complete all aspects of construction - from new home builds and boutique developments, to renovations and extensions - the company prides itself on guiding each prospective client through the building process as seamlessly as possible, with minimal interruption to a busy lifestyle. With almost every one of the company's builds featured on Channel Nine's 'Open Homes Australia' and 'Austalia's Best House' programs, Building Under Construction's reputation for excellence is well-founded.

A top 3 finalist in the Master Builders Victoria, 'Best Home Under $2 million' category, the company's success has also been recognised at an industry-acclaimed level for their expansive, boutique-style modern dwellings. Through the help of in-house interior designer and property stylists Elaine, Andrew's trade background in carpentry and Michael's in real estate and property development, each client experiences the best of such diverse skillsets, ensuring a meticulous level of detail and quality is achieved on each build, whilst delivering an enjoyable and stress-free experience for all who work with them.
